Wilson Jr. High School competed in the first FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament

On Saturday, November 5th, 4 robotics teams from Wilson Jr. High School competed in the first FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament in Chula Vista, CA.

 

Two of the teams advanced to the next level, Regionals. One of those teams obtained 1st place in the "Core Values" category of the competition.

 

The 31 students who participated have been working on the innovation research project, the robot design, strategy, and game, and the core values that guided them throughout the entire experience.

In December, the two teams "Warriors 1" and "Warriors 3" will be headed to their first Regional tournament to compete against the best teams in the Southern California area for a chance to advance to the next level: "Championship" (AKA Nationals).
