DELAC and MPAC Calendar

 

The District English Learner Advisory Committee, DELAC, is an advisory committee comprised of representatives from each school's English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). The role of the DELAC is to advise the district on programs and services for English learners. DELAC focus is to improve our English learners'  English language acquisition and to help our students achieve academic success.

 

The primary goal of the Migrant Parent Advisory Council (MPAC) is to offer migrant parents the forum to advise the District on migrant educational programs and make recommendations in order to improve migrant students' academic achievement. The MPAC encourages increased parent participation of migrant families in their children's education. MPAC fosters home to school and school to home communication and positive involvement. 

 

The District and MPAC, working together, establish the migrant educational goals, objectives and priorities of the Migrant Program. They review annual needs, program activities and are actively involved in the planning and implementation of  the service agreement.
